MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Terms and Conditions of Membership
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Marketing in Maritime Limited (“MiM”) and its members ("Member" or "Members"). By applying for or renewing membership, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Membership Eligibility
- Membership is open to individuals or entities who meet the criteria set by MiM.
- MiM reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its discretion.
3. Membership Tiers
Digital Only Membership
Digital only Members shall be entitled to:
- Online access only to webinars, portal, toolkit and podcasts.
- Receive regular communications and updates.
- Participate online in member-only events and activities.
Full Access
Full Access Members shall be entitled to all Digital Only rights, plus priority in person free access to events, receptions, resources and consultations, as outlined by MiM from time to time.
MiM may add additional tiers or categories of membership from time to time.
4. Membership Fees
- Membership fees are set by MiM from time to time and are payable annually at the start of each Membership Year (or as otherwise specified) and may vary between tiers of memberships.
- Fees are non-refundable except in cases of administrative error or exceptional circumstances.
- Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of membership.
- An invoice for membership fees will be provided on written request.
5. Membership Term and Renewal
- Membership is valid for a period of one year from the date of acceptance (“Membership Year”).
- Membership shall automatically renew for successive Membership Years unless the Member provides written notice of cancellation to MiM within the 21 calendar days immediately following the relevant renewal date.
- Renewal notices will be issued no less than 30 calendar days prior to the relevant renewal date.
- Members must renew to retain active membership.
6. Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
- Comply with all policies, codes of conduct, and decisions made by MiM
- Maintain accurate contact and payment information
- Treat other Members and staff with respect and professionalism
7. Termination and Suspension
Membership may be suspended or terminated if:
- The Member breaches these Terms and Conditions
- Fees remain unpaid after a seven-day grace period
- The Member engages in MiM’s sole opinion in conduct detrimental to MiM
- The Member voluntarily resigns
8. Changes to Terms
- MiM reserves the right to amend from time to time these Terms and Conditions and membership benefits.
- Members will be notified of changes via email or website updates.
- Continued membership after changes implies acceptance of the revised terms and/or membership benefits.
9. Data Protection
- MiM will handle personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and in accordance with Wake Media Group privacy policy.
- Members’ data will be used solely for membership administration, communication, and service delivery.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
